John Lomas and navigator Pete Johnson took a famous vintage win against a much younger field of classic rally cars in their 1935 Riley Kestrel, to show that a machine with pre war provenance and a great driver – navigator combination can demonstrate that ‘age shall not wither them!’ As John added; “You win it in the workshop!”
